Kookai Fortitude Valley were stores with many creative considerations when it comes to the lighting design.
Kookai, the Australian owned women’s fashion label is defined by an essence of femininity, confidence, allure and independent style.
When it came to living up to the brand value’s and illumination of the space, there were many considerations. There’s high ceilings, the marriage of mesmerising natural light through the skylights and glass, mixed with the juxtaposition of illuminating products with artificial light – a cornerstone of retail lighting. The space was designed with a gallery feel (and not just because of the fantastic artwork of display) and features beautifully minimal design with clean lines. One could say the details here are down to a fine art.
