An interior worth drinking to at Vasse Felix

Vasse Felix was the first vineyard and winery to be established in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. The new interior from Hecker Guthrie is a captivating and highly sophisticated mixture of raw meets refined, with the space being described by ArchitectureAU as having “transformed the iconic Vasse Felix winery into a landmark destination that promotes the calibre and culture of the region”. The contemporary lighting design features a fascinating mix of bespoke fixtures including customised spots, cylinder pendants, custom linear pendants (all painted in an original blackened brass) and “linear strip lighting that accentuates the variety of wines and the patina of their aged labels”. A good drop deserves a great interior, and this space delivers by the bottle.
